Microsoft: Quantum Break Will Make Television Feel Interactive
One of the most intriguing titles announced during the Xbox One reveal event was Quantum Break and the team at Microsoft is still shy when it comes to details although it also hopes that it will redefine the link between games and television.
Phil Spencer, a vice president of the company, is quoted by VG247 as saying that, “television is one-way” at the moment and that Quantum Break will change the status.
He adds, “The reason we’re investing in TV is that over the last ten years we’ve seen how games change when they’re connected to the internet.”
Remedy Entertainment, the developers of the game, say that players will be able to directly influence the show and will also get p lenty of interaction with the main characters.
The Xbox One aims to cater to both hardcore gamers and those who are interested in other types of media.
The device will be launched in November.
