Change Windows7 Welcome Screen

In Windows7 its possible to change Welcome Screen (that appears when you start your computer with user list) and set Image there as your own choice. This feature is disabled by default, so you’ll have to enable it from the Registry and need to make one new folder only.

To Do this ...

1 ) Open Run Command box
Click here to know how to open Run Command box
2 ) Type "regedit" in "Run" window textbox
3 ) Hit "Enter", this will open "Registry Editor"
4 ) From the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE subtree, navigate/goto following subkey
SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background
to do this click on "+" left side of item name in tree view.
5 ) Double Click on "OEMBackground", "Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value" window will open
If you don’t see "OEMBackground", right-click in the right pane, select the New submenu and create a new DWORD value with "OEMBackground" name
6 ) Enter "1" as "Value data:", Click ok to close
7 ) Open folder "C:\Windows\System32\oobe"
here "C" is drive where windows installed, may be you have some other drive
8 ) Right Click inside the folder, Select New and then New Folder from popup menu

VMware Authorization Service is not running Error

"The VMware Authorization Service is not running" Error
One of my freind is getting this VMware Error while useing "VMWARE" software, and we found its to fast and easy to solved this error


To Do this ...

1 ) Open Run Commandbox
Click here to know how to open run commandbox
2 ) Type "services.msc" in Run Commandbox textbox
3 ) Click on "Ok", and "Services" window open
4 ) Search for "VMware Authorization Service" under "Name" column
5 ) Double click on "VMware Authorization Service"
6 ) "VMware Authorization Service Properties(Local Computer)" window will open
7 ) Check "Service status:", it must be stopped

Create Custom Keyboard Shortcut in iOS 5

iOS 5 comes with only one shortcut, but you can define/create nw Shortcut your self to speedup your typing

To Do this ...


1 ) Select "Settings" icon from main menu
2 ) Select "General" Option from "Settings" options
3 ) Select "Keyboard" from "General" options
4 ) Scrollup Screen till you dont see "Shortcuts" options
here you will see one added shortcut "omw - On my way!" and "Add New Shortcut..." option
5 ) To add new shortcut, select "Add New Shortcut..."
6 ) New "Shortcut" page will open
7 ) Type the shortcut abbreviation in the "Shortcut" textbox, and what you want the shortcut to expand to in the "Phrase" textbox.
