Watch Windows 8.1 RTM in Action Video

Windows 8.1 RTM is currently being deployed by OEMs around the world on their devices, but some Chinese versions have already found their way to the Internet.

A new YouTube clip posted a few hours ago by user bavogames showcases the latest changes made to the RTM build, including the new set of wallpapers exclusively prepared by Microsoft for the stable OS update.

In addition, Windows 8.1 RTM comes with a pre-installed copy of Skype, which means that Microsoft has completely retired the Messagi ng app and is now ready to go all-in on its VoIP platform.

As far as the public launch is concerned, 8.1 RTM is projected to be unveiled on October 18 for everyone, including here consumers, enterprises, MSDN and TechNet subscribers. Windows 8 adopters will be allowed to download it from the Store a day earlier.
