Transferring contacts from your old phone

Okay, lets say you just got a new HTC (maybe HTC VIVID) and you are loojing out for a way to Easily transfer contacts from your old phone to your HTC Vivid through Bluetooth. Well, i think it still depends on your old phone’s model wehter is is bluetooth enable or the device is capable to also transfer other types of data such as calendar events and text messages e.t.c.

Without wasting much time

1. Let me assume you're on the Home screen, then tap > Transfer.
2. Tap Next to get started.
3. Select your old phone's name and model.
4. On your old phone, turn Bluetooth on and set it to discoverable mode.
5. On your HTC Vivid, tap Next to continue. HTC Vivid automatically turns Bluetooth on and searches for Bluetooth devices.
6. From the device list, choose your old phone and then tap Next. Your HTC will then try to pair with your old phone. You’ll see a security passkey on the screen.
7. On your old phone, enter the required passkey or simply confirm it.
8. Select the Contact's check box (and other supported types of data you want to import), and then tap Next.
9. When importing of data is finally completed, tap Done.
